PATRICIA CHUTE

I have always been an artist, and my love of art has been a lifelong focus.
 
It began during my school years where I developed a very strong interest in art, and thanks to parents who believed in nurturing my special talent, I was encouraged to pursue my passion through childhood.
 
Though my deepest interest remained in fine art, I chose to make commercial art my career and spent 22 rewarding and successful years as an art/creative director.  I retired from the frenetic world of advertising in 1999, and now devote my talents once again to fine art.
 
I love traveling to new and exotic places whenever possible, where I discover unlimited inspiration.  By working in a variety of media, including acrylic, watercolor, mixed media, and ceramic decoration, I have the freedom to explore hidden impressions by blending closely observed reality with color, texture, patterns and light.
 
My resume includes individual shows and participation in many group and juried exhibitions, where I have won numerous awards as well as signature membership in the Florida Watercolor Society.
 
Many of my paintings are licensed, reproduced and sold in retail locations and catalogs all over the US .  My original work can be seen at galleries in my hometown, St. Petersburg , Florida , as well as private collections in the US and abroad.
